Estroven Effects on Males

Estroven products are herbal supplements designed to treat the symptoms of menopause. It includes an assortment of vitamins and herbs. Men, like women, go through hormone changes as they get older but they don't have the number of symptoms women have during menopause. Men have decreased testosterone levels and an increase of estrogen.

Manopause

• For men who are going through changes estroven may help with stress levels and fatigue. But it won't help with night sweats. Men get night sweats, but in their case it is because of a low level of testosterone.

Young Men

• For young men estroven will probably act like a good multi-vitamin. Most of the ingredients in estroven are vitamins. There are some additional herbs in it like black cohosh, which is thought to calm nerves, but that has not been proven.

Studies

• Estroven has been on the market since 1997. It has been studied, but unfortunately only in women. There are however no harmful ingredients and estroven claims there are no side effects.

Customer Reports

• One man who did take estroven wrote about his experience. He reported he saw significant changes like increased body fat and softer skin. But other people discounted his claims saying estroven is nothing more than an herbal placebo for men and won't have any effect on a man's appearance.

• Estroven reports it takes 7 to 10 days for it to fully work. They also claim it will not interfere with any other supplements.
