How to Make Lavender Syrup for Treating Colds

Lavender's antiseptic, antibacterial, immunity-boosting and calming properties make it an effective cold treatment. It makes a potent syrup to relieve cold symptoms. Diluting lavender syrup with hot water and brandy in cold months will help keep the body warm. During warmer months, it can be diluted with carbonated mineral water. Lavender is also good for treating cuts and acne, healing sores and burns and reducing sleeplessness and headaches.
