How to Use Aloe for Baby Colic
Aloe Vera is one of the most healing plants known throughout the world. Aloe contains many vitamins, minerals and amino acids which are essential for your overall health. Many people keep aloe vera plants in their homes and use the “gel” found in the leaves to treat cuts or sores on their skin. However, not everyone knows about the internal healing effects from the proper consumption of aloe vera juice. The juice treats a variety of gastrointestinal ailments such as excessive gas, constipation, and ulcers. If you have an infant who is suffering from colic, you have most likely tried everything from running the vacuum cleaner in the middle of the night to taking a lot of car rides around the block just to get your little one to sleep. If you are exhausted from caring for your colicky baby, try aloe vera juice and you both just might get to sleep through the night very soon.Things You'll Need

1
Give your baby the recommended daily dosage of aloe vera juice which is 2 teaspoons. Start by putting a small amount of aloe vera juice in your baby's bottle, such as 1/2 teaspoon. Add formula or breast milk to the bottle. If your baby only takes the breast and not a bottle, give the 1/2 teaspoon of Aloe Vera juice using a small syringe used for medicine.

2
Swaddle your baby before giving him or her the bottle. This often causes the baby to feel more secure and relaxed which helps to deter the most severe colic symptoms. 3
Feed your baby the bottle containing the aloe vera juice. Remember to burp your baby often, usually after every 2 ounces.

4
Adjust the dosage accordingly once you have used the aloe vera juice for several feedings. Most babies with colic are the fussiest at night so you may want to add more juice to the night time bottle. However, never give more than 2 teaspoons per day as this can cause your baby to have diarrhea.
