    Burning

    • Burning of the mouth and throat can also occur while taking garlic supplements, according to Drugs.com.

    Allergic Reactions

    • Allergic reactions are a possible serious side effect and should be treated immediately if any of the following symptoms are experienced: difficulty breathing, closing of your throat, hives, or swelling of the lips, tongue or face.
