    Diabetics

    • Rose apple fruit affects the pancreas in diabetics and acts as a block against the conversion of starch into sugar. Types

    • There are two types of rose apple fruits: the large oval-shaped fruit is also called suva-jamun; a small round fruit is also called kutta-jamun. Although the larger fruit is sweeter, both provide the same health benefits.

    Warning

    • Although all of the rose apple fruit can be eaten, including parts of the tree itself, it should not be taken excessively. It can cause a cough and phylum in the lungs and soreness to the throat and chest.
