How to Make Rosemary Tincture
A tincture is a blend of an herb's essential oils, suspended in alcohol. A rosemary tincture can help give relief from colds or ward off infection. This tincture can be taken orally, or applied directly to cuts or wounds in order to aid in healing.Things You'll Need
- ½ cup rosemary needles
- 2 cups vodka
- Amber glass jar with a lid
- Eyedropper

Pour the vodka into the glass jar.

Add the rosemary needles to the vodka. You may crush the needles before adding, to help release the essential oils.

Seal the jar and store in a cool, dark place for six to eight weeks.

Strain the rosemary tincture, removing the needles from the vodka. Pour the strained tincture back into the jar.

Fill an eyedropper half full with the tincture and take orally every two hours for the first 48 hours. Reduce the amount taken to twice daily for the next two weeks.

Store the rosemary tincture in a cool, dark place when not in use.
