How to Make Homemade Reishi Tincture
The reishi mushroom grows on old and dying trees. According to Christopher Hobbs, author of "Medicinal Mushrooms: An Exploration of Tradition, Healing and Culture," the Chinese and Japanese have used reishi mushrooms to treat immune system disorders, high blood pressure, arthritis and other maladies for 4,000 years. Patients take reishi in teas, syrups, soups and tinctures. In addition, this mushroom can be used to dye paper, wool and other fabrics.Things You'll Need
