How to Use Avocado Pear Seed to Lower High BP
Avocados are also called "alligator pears" because of their shape and wrinkly green skin. These names are sometimes melded into "avocado pear." The avocado has long been used as a preventative remedy for high cholesterol and heart disease. It's also popular for lowering blood pressure because of its high levels of potassium and folate, which help to regulate blood pressure and protect the body against heart disease. Also, the fatty alcohol, avocadene, present in avocados has shown to been anti-inflammatory, thus aiding the lowering of blood pressure. Some studies recommend eating the avocado pear seed since nutrients are more concentrated in a fruit's seed than in the flesh.Things You'll Need

2
Spread out an old towel on a sturdy surface and place a square of plastic wrap on top. Put the avocado seed in the center of one end of the towel and fold the towel and plastic wrap over the seed.

3
Smash the seed with a hammer, using short, firm strokes. Continue until the seed is broken up into small, gravelly pieces. Keep your fingers clear of the hammer.

4
Sprinkle the seed pieces into an avocado smoothie or use them as a garnish on pasta, meat or fish in place of nuts. Put them in any recipe that also requires the avocado flesh. The seed will add extra potassium and other nutrients to the food.
