Organic Ways to Eliminate Yeast Fungus on the Scalp
Scalp fungus may cause hair loss, itchy skin and frizzy hair, along with scaling of the skin on the scalp. Scalp fungus is easily treatable through the use of inexpensive and organic methods that pose very few risks of side effects and are quite affordable.-
Aloe Vera
-
Pre-treat the hair with aloe vera oil either straight from the aloe plant or in the form of organic aloe from a health food store. Massage the aloe vera into the scalp and into the hair shaft to ensure that the fungus is treated without having a negative effect on the growth of the hair. Leave the aloe in the hair for three minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water. Follow the aloe rinse with shampoo.
Apple Cider Vinegar
-
Use a solution of half apple cider vinegar and half water. Massage the solution into the scalp and into the hair follicles after shampooing and rinsing the hair to prevent fungus in both the scalp and the hair follicles. Leave the solution in the hair for five minutes. Rinse the solution with lukewarm water. Allow the hair to air dry.
Vitamin E
-
Use vitamin E applied topically in the form of shampoos or styling aids, or take vitamin E orally in the form of vitamin supplements and from the foods you eat. Vitamin E helps replenish and maintain moisture in the scalp, which can be lost through the growth of fungus.
