Sinol Side Effects
-
-
Sinol is a holistic remedy for those with headaches, allergies or sinus issues.
About Sinol
-
According to Sinol.net, the "capsaicin in Sinol desensitizes the mucous membranes in the nose which makes them less irritated by airborne particles, helping to relieve allergies and congestion." Because it is a nasal spray, it works far faster than medications in pill or tablet form. Sinol.net lists the ingredients as purified water, aloe barbadensis extract, eucalyptus oil, rosemary extract, sea salt (sodium chloride), ascorbic acid, capsaicin and capsaicin extract. Sinol is FDA registered.
Sinol does not cause drowsiness or the "jitters," like some antihistamines and decongestants. It is well-established that capsaicin---an ingredient intrinsic to different types of hot chili peppers---relaxes the body's blood vessels and helps relieve headache pain.
Mild Side Effects
-
When you use Sinol for the first time, you may experience a mild burning sensation for two to five seconds. This is because of the capsaicin, which is derived from hot peppers but is a clinically proven pain reliever.
Severe Side Effects
-
If you are allergic to any of the ingredients in Sinol, you could experience anything from a mild to a severe reaction. An allergic reaction may cause symptoms such as hives, rash, difficulty breathing, or a constant burning sensation or irritation in your nose or sinuses. If you experience an allergic reaction, cease using the product immediately. If the symptoms persist or worsen, see a health-care provider as soon as possible.
Uses
-
Sinol helps reduce allergy triggers and helps keep nasal passages moist and clean. It helps reduce pain and congestion for those with allergies or sinus problems such as rhinitis, sinusitis or sinus infections. It may also help people who experience migraine headaches. For best results, the manufacturers say that Sinol should be used daily.
Warnings
-
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, ask your doctor if Sinol is a good choice for you. Sinol is not recommended for children younger than 14. Do not spray Sinol in or around the eye area. Also consult your physician if Sinol is compatible with other medications you are taking.
