Homeopathic Herpes Treatment
Herpes is a sexually transmitted disease involving one of the herpes simplex viruses (HSV-1 or HSV-2). It presents itself in different forms depending on the source of the infection. Herpes simplex 2 is most commonly involved with a genital outbreak. The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) reports that in the United States there are 45 million people, aged 12 and older, infected with one form of this virus. There is currently is no cure for herpes but there are homeopathic remedies available that may help you control the illness.-

Symptoms for genital herpes include tiny blisters that appear on the genital area or around the rectum. When they break, they become painful sores that take time to heal. During an outbreak, you may get a series of these blisters and then in a few weeks get another. The second series will often heal faster than the first.
Graphite

One approach to homeopathic healing of herpes is graphite. Graphite is the component that makes pencils work for writing. It is sold in pellets and promoted to heal various skin aliments, including herpes. Recommended dosage for pellets is five tablets a day, dissolved in the mouth, until symptoms subside. There are no reported side effects.
Arsenicum

Referred to as Ars. alb, arsenicum is a diluted form of arsenic and recommend by homeopaths as a treatment for skin ailments such as herpes. Poisonous in pure form, when diluted it is a safe and helpful remedy. Available in tablets or pellets, the only warning reported with arsenicum is to use caution when drinking coffee or caffeinated products. The interactions may make arsenicum ineffective. Doses vary depending on how it is taken.
Sulfur

Recommended mostly for eczema or acne, sulfur is good for any type of skin irritation, available in pilules, a tiny tablet. Recommended dosage is two pilules every two hours for the first six dosages, after that, four dosages daily for the next five days. There are no reported side effects. Doses will vary if taken it in a different form.
