    How Does Agnus Castus Work?

    • Agnus castus works by acting on the hypothalamus and the pituitary glands causing an increase in the production of the luteinizing hormone (LH) while mildly reducing the release of the follicle stimulating hormone (FSH). This causes the progesterone levels in the body to be higher than the estrogen levels.

    Precautions

    • If an individual has any health problems such as allergies, diabetes, hormonal problems or liver disease, they should consult with a physician before taking agnus castus. Also, it is not recommended for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding to use this product.
