If you purchase the capsules or tea bags - follow the instructions on the label to follow them correctly. It may take several days before you really see a difference. Alternative remedies take time and practice.

If you are using the actually dried herbs - you need to make an infusion. Brew it yourself. 1-2 teaspoons of Valerian root to every 6 cups of hot. Let it steep for awhile and then consume.
