It was manufactured by Berkeley Premium Nutraceuticals, which is now called Vanda LLC after a massive raid and arrests of founder Steven Warshak, employees and Warshak's mother, Harriet.-

An article by Rita Rubin in USA Today says, "While some of these herbs have been used for centuries, clinical trials are lacking." In the same article, Dallas urologist Kenneth Goldberg said, "It makes no sense medically. There's no way that increasing blood flow to the penis, as Enzyte claims to do, will actually increase its size."

Attorneys at Murdock Goldenberg Schneider & Groh filed a lawsuit against Berkeley Premium Nutraceutical because of "false and unproven claims to lure men and women into purchasing the supplements, and used deceptive practices to charge consumers for unordered products." Importantly, class members retain all rights to recover a portion of the nearly $30 million that was seized from the defendants by the United States Attorney General."

Steven Warshak, his mother and business partner Harriet and other employees were arrested in 2006 after an investigation by the U.S. attorney general, FDA, IRS and the United States Postal Inspection Service. Insight
-
Urologist Goldberg, in the article from USA Today, said, "Unfortunately, guys are just preoccupied with the thought that their penises are small. They have all kinds of psychological issues over it. It's very easy to play on that weakness." There has been little to no research to prove the effectiveness of Enzyte. Any and all personal issues that might involve taking any kind of medication should always be discussed with a licensed physician.
