Create an eye wash out of Chrysanthemums by boiling six to 10 dried flowers in a cup of hot water for 15 minutes. Strain the mixture and allow it to cool to room temperature. Then apply the mixture to a soft cloth and gently wash your eyes to alleviate dry eye conditions. Repeat the wash three times a day until your condition subsides.

Eyebright is an herbal astringent, decongestant, and it helps to diminish eye inflammation. This remedy is great for eye sties, conjunctivitis and dry eye conditions. You can also consume Eyebright to treat sinus and hay fever conditions that might be the cause for your dry eyes. Eyebright has a bitter taste. Consume in capsule form by taking two 430-milligram capsules a day to alleviate dry eye conditions. To create an Eyebright eye wash, you can dilute two to four droppers of Eyebright tincture in a cup of warm water. You can then apply the herbal mix to a soft cloth and gently wipe your dry eyes. Repeat the wash three times a day until your condition subsides.

This herb offers immunological boosting effects, and can help in regulating your immune system. This herb is also used to correct imbalances in your liver, which may be responsible for dry eyes. Consume the tincture by mixing two droppers of the tincture in a cup of water; take this remedy two to three times daily for dry eye relief. Ligustrum is also offered as a supplement; consume 28 to 84 drops of the herb twice daily to prevent dry eye conditions.
