Why is Bio-Liver Detox Important?
-
Cleansing your liver with Bio-Liver Detox is important because it is the largest organ responsible for cleansing the body. When the liver is functioning normally, it removes toxins and sends them on their way to the excretory system. If the liver becomes overworked, toxins can build up and the liver begins to malfunction. When the liver malfunctions, toxins are left in your body and cannot be expelled. Detoxifying your liver can help to remove toxins so it can function normally again.
What are the Ingredients of Bio-Liver Detox?
-
Bio-Liver Detox contains a blend of 18 ingredients. Most of these ingredients are herbal, but there is ascorbic acid (vitamin C) and minerals, as well. The primary ingredient is 600 mg of Vitis Vinifera seed, which is also known as grape seed. According to the University of Maryland Medical Center, the healing properties of grapes have been used for more than 6,000 years. Vitis Vinifera is known to be high in antioxidants and scavenge free radicals. Free radicals can be responsible for damage in the liver and are caused by environmental factors like pollution, ultraviolet light and drugs.
The secondary herbal ingredient in Bio-Liver Detox is 300 mg of equiv thujone. There is not much information about this ingredient available other than thujone, though not necessarily equiv thujone, is the active ingredient in wormwood, which is in the drink Absinthe, and is also in sage.
At 125 mg, ascorbic acid comes in third on the ingredients list of Bio-Liver Detox. Ascorbic acid is vitamin C and can be found in common fruits and vegetables. It is sometimes used as a natural preservative, which may or may not be the case with Bio-Liver Detox.
There are many scientifically proven liver cleansers available, such as turmeric oil by New Chapter or Healthy Liver Tonic tincture by Herb Pharm. Check with your doctor before starting a detox regimen.
