Drink herbal teas, which can help naturally flush your colon by working as a mild laxative and killing bacteria that exist in the colon. This colon-cleansing tea recipe features ginger and basil, which help to reduce bloating and stimulate peristalsis in the colon. This encourages it to flush toxins.
For ginger mint tea: Boil 1 cup water. While the water is boiling, crush two cloves and grate two tbsp. fresh ginger. Add them to the water once it boils. After one minute, add five whole fresh basil leaves and three mint leaves. Turn the heat on low so that the water simmers. Let the tea simmer for five minutes. Pour the tea into a cup and allow it to cool.

Try a recipe that's great for those who dislike teas or are on dialysis and must restrict their fluid intake. The apple cider vinegar and plums in this recipe help to flush the colon of impacted matter and relieve constipation.
Colon-cleansing plum jam ingredients: 20 ripe plums; 3.5 oz. honey (seven tbsp.); 1 pint water; 1 tsp. apple cider vinegar; 1 tsp. tamarind jam.
Pit the plums and put them in a large pot. Add seven of the plum pits and the water to the pot as well. Boil the plums and pits, uncovered, for an hour. Stir the mixture periodically and add more water if needed.
Remove the pits and turn the flame to low. Let the plums simmer for 20 more minutes. Take the pot off of the flame and let it cool. After it has cooled, add the honey, apple cider vinegar and tamarind jam.
Put the jam in a glass jam jar and seal it tightly. Eat 1 tbsp. of the jam every morning on an empty stomach. Wait 30 minutes before consuming breakfast.
Colon-Cleansing Herbal Enema

Go the direct route with an enema. This herbal tea enema contains chamomile, which contains oils called proazulenes. These soothe and cleanse the colon, while the inserted and retained liquid clears impacted fecal matter and toxins.
Chamomile enema recipe: Bring 1 quart filtered water to a boil. Place six bags of chamomile herbal tea (any brand will suffice) into a bowl large enough to hold at least 2 quarts of water. Pour the boiling hot water into the bowl over the tea bags. Leave the tea to steep for 10 minutes.
Remove the tea bags and add cold water until a thermometer placed in the water reads 103 degrees F. Pour the water into an enema bag and flush the tea into your colon. If possible, retain the liquid in your colon for up to 15 minutes for maximum colon cleansing.
