Wheat Grass Juice Cancer Cures

Wheatgrass juice has gained attention in recent years as both a nutritional supplement and health curing tonic. While the claim that wheatgrass can help prevent cancer has yet to be scientifically proven, there is evidence to suggest its contents have beneficial qualities.
  1. Contents

    • Proponents of wheatgrass have longed claimed its benefits to the human body, but many of the superior claims attributed to it are slightly controversial and somewhat in dispute. Wheatgrass contains many phytonutrients and chlorophyll, which is also present in green leafy vegetables. Chlorophyll has been found to help digestion, increase blood flow and help detox the body, and as a preventative step to combat certain types of cancer (see below). Wheatgrass contains folic acid, which works in combination with the adherent B12 contained inside. Folic acid works much better when used in conjunction with the B12 vitamin.

    Uses

    • Wheatgrass is usually ingested in juice form, prepared or made from a powdered mix. It can also be taken in pill form. Some people take it in shot form once or twice a day, or it is added to a shake or other beverage.
You can also extract it from freeze-dried samples bought at health food stores with a juicer.
Clinical trials conducted using wheatgrass showed an increase of iron in the blood cells of patients who suffered from colitis and liver cancer.

    Claims of Benefits

    • Another reason people claim wheatgrass is a good preventative measure against cancer is due to the fact that it promotes cell structure and detoxing capabilities. There have also been claims that chlorophyll may help combat colon cancer. Again, its cancer-prevention capabilities have never been scientifically proven.

The active compounds in wheatgrass have been shown to do the following things: aid digestion, reduce high-blood pressure, reduce toxin levels and help to prevent the metabolism of harmful carcinogens.
