In ancient times honey was used for its healing properties, yet many today are unaware of its multiple uses. Honey is utilized in alternative medicine and has been gaining ground as a home remedy. There are different types of honey and differing results depending on the type.-

Studies have shown varying results as to the effectiveness of using honey to heal. Honey may spark an allergic reaction in some individuals. Never give raw honey to a child under one year of age, as the immature digestive system could allow botulism spores to develop.
