Crush your burdock, astralagus root, and ginger by grinding them with the pestle in your mortar.

Put your herbs in the large tea ball, and add the water to a saucepan over medium heat.

Hang the tea ball over the side of the pan so that the herbs steep in the water. Let the tea come to a boil.

Reduce the heat to low, and simmer the roots for 30 minutes.

Remove your tea ball and place it in a teacup. Pour the tea into the cup, over the tea ball. Let the roots soak for a few minutes.

Remove the tea ball from the teacup. Sweeten your tea with honey as desired. Enjoy!
