With your knife, lightly scrape the blade along the brown skin of the ginger until it is fully removed and the yellow flesh is exposed.

Slice the ginger into 1/4-inch thick pieces.

Lightly wash the skin or facial area to be treated.

Rub the pieces of ginger on the affected area until it is lightly coated with oil.
