With your knife, lightly scrape the blade along the brown skin of the ginger until it is fully removed and the yellow flesh is exposed.

Slice the ginger into 1/4-inch thick pieces.

Lightly wash the skin or facial area to be treated.

Rub the pieces of ginger on the affected area until it is lightly coated with oil.

Place the ginger pieces on the skin and leave them for up to 20 minutes. Lay on the floor for facial application.
