1
Apply the bloodroot salve in a very thin layer over the skin cancer or growth. Avoid as much as possible getting it on any other areas of the skin. Cover the salve with a clean, cotton bandage, and allow it to remain for 24 hours.
-
2
Rinse the bloodroot salve from the affected area using cool, clean water and a soft cotton cloth. Reapply the salve the next day using the same method, and allow it to remain for an additional 24 hours. Do not break or force any of the growth off at this point.
-
3
Repeat the application of bloodroot salve and cleansing of the area until the growth is nothing more than pus and dead tissue. This process may take several days to weeks.
-
4
Cease the application of bloodroot salve once a large pus-filled wound has formed where the growth or cancer was located. Wait for a scab to form, which should come off of its own volition in 10 to15 days.
-
5
Apply aloe vera gel to the area after the scab has come off. There will be wet tissue underneath the scab. Keep it covered with cotton bandages, and apply the aloe gel one to two times per day to promote healing and prevent infection.
