How to Heal with Oregano Oil

Oregano oil is extracted from wild oregano, and is used in a wide range of healing remedies. It has antiseptic and antibacterial properties that promote healing both inside the body and out. Oil of oregano is also packed full of antioxidants, which aid the body in fighting off damaging free radicals that can cause heart disease and other illnesses. A study published by the United States Department of Agriculture stated that oregano oil is near the top of the list of plant oils with antimicrobial properties. Oregano oil can be taken internally as a drink or in capsule form, or diluted and applied externally to the skin.
