History of Body Wraps

Body wraps are used to pull pollutants and toxins from the body using herbs and mosses. The theory goes back centuries, and it has been proven that Cleopatra used clay poultices as skin treatments.     Global Recognition

    • Body wraps steadily became popular all over the world in the first 10 years. Still performed mostly in salons, they were very expensive and mostly used by celebrities and wealthy individuals.

    1990s

    • The salon industry changed its marketing strategy and made the body wraps affordable to the general public. Men and women started participating in getting body wraps as a quick way to lose inches and remove toxins from the body.
