What is Modifilan?
Modifilan is brown seaweed harvested by divers from the strain Laminaria japonica. It is found in the cold waters of the northern Pacific. The nutritional value of seaweed has been known for centuries, but it wasn't until after the Chernobyl incident in Russia that the unique properties of this seaweed were discovered by Russian scientists.-

Modifilan was given to the Chernobyl victims to fight radiation sickness because it contains high levels of alginates which help the body to rid itself of heavy metals and toxins.

Modifilan also contains fucoidan and laminarin, two polysaccharides that are believed to have anti-cancer properties.

Other benefits of Modifilan are that it boosts the immune system, lowers blood sugar and cholesterol levels, pulls toxins and heavy metals from the body, protects against some cancers, regulates thyroid disorders and gastrointestinal tract function.
