1
Gather your ingredients and begin by mixing 2 ounces of beeswax, 2 ounces of almond oil, 1/2-ounce of canola oil and 1/2-ounce of jojoba oil. Place these ingredients into your double boiler and heat until the beeswax has been melted. Keep the heat low, and slowly melt the ingredients.

2
Check the mixture to see if the thickness is to your liking. You can thicken the salve by simply adding additional beeswax. To add slight thickness, add 3 tablespoons of beeswax to the mixture and re-heat.

3
Remove the salve from the heat and place it into a mixing bowl to cool. Once the salve has cooled to a temperature that is still warm to the touch, add ten drops of lavender essential oil and stir. Then add ten drops of eucalyptus essential oil and stir the mixture again. Finally, add ten drops of chamomile essential oil and stir for five minutes.

4
Pour this mixture into salve jars and allow the salve to cool before placing the lids onto the jars. The salve will take anywhere from 30 to 45 minutes to safely cool down.
-
5
Apply this salve to dry and irritated skin for immediate relief. To use as a lip balm, take a small amount on your fingers and rub a thin layer over your lips.
