How to Naturally Treat Bruises

Mix one tablespoon of cayenne pepper with five tablespoons of Vaseline in a cooking pot. Place this pot on your stove and heat until the Vaseline has melted. Once the Vaseline has melted, and it has comfortable to the touch, apply a generous amount of this solution directly onto your bruise. Apply this mixture to your bruise on a daily basis until the bruise has disappeared.

Combine one cup of water with three tablespoons of confrey root. Boil the water and then cover, allowing this mixture to steep for ten minutes. Drain the confrey root out of the water and dip a soft rag into the tea. Once the rag is drenched, place directly on your bruise to help relieve pain and any discoloration that is associated with the bruise.

Boil one cup of fresh cabbage on your stove until the cabbage is soft and flaccid. Once the cabbage is comfortable to touch, take several leaves and place it directly on your bruise. Allow the cabbage to rest on your bruise for five-to-ten minutes. Repeat this process on a daily basis until the bruise is gone.

Crush four tablespoons of fresh parsley and place in a bowl. With a soft rag, gently moisten your bruise with water and then apply a layer of the crushed parsley directly onto your bruise. Let the parsley rest on your bruise for ten minutes before washing off. Perform this treatment twice a day until your bruise is gone.

Run a bath with warm water and place three tablespoons of Witch Hazel into the water. Stir the herb for several minutes with your hand and then soak in the bath for fifteen minutes. Witch Hazel has anti-inflammatory qualities, which will help heal your bruise quickly.
