How to Treat Athletes Foot With Natural Remedies

  • Mild antibacterial soap
  • 2 cups Epsom salt
  • Water
  • Tea tree oil
  • Aloe vera gel
  • Grapefruit seed extract
  • Large container (large enough to fit both feet)

      Wash your feet three times per day with an mild antibacterial soap. With a washcloth, adequately clean in between your toes and the arch of your foot. Carefully towel dry your feet, making sure they are completely dry before putting on socks.

      Mix 2 cups of Epsom salt into a large container with warm water. Such containers are casserole dishes or large plastic containers will sufficiently hold your feet and water. Soak your feet in this solution once a day until your athlete's foot is cured.

      Apply 7 drops of tea tree oil directly onto the affected areas of your feet and allow the oil to soak into your foot. Repeat this process until your athlete's foot has subsided, however, continue applying tea tree drops to your feet for three weeks after this condition has cleared.

      Mix 4 ounces of pure aloe vera gel with 1 teaspoon of tea tree oil. Rub in this mixture directly on your feet and allow it to fully dry before you put on your socks. Repeat two times per day until your feet are healed.

      Apply 3 drops of grapefruit seed extra directly onto the palm of your feet and with your hands rub the oil throughout the entire bottom of your foot. To keep from spreading athletes foot, apply 5 drops of grapefruit seed extract into your laundry when washing your socks.
