How to Use Natural Remedies to Treat Bed Sores

      Apply Vitamin E Oil over your entire body during bed rest. Pay special attention to the areas that are more prone to bed sores, such as the elbows, back and hips. Repeat the application on a twice-daily basis as long as you are in bed.

      Sprinkle antiseptic powder over any affected area daily. Apply this powder to the sores at least once every 4 hours.

      Rub aloe vera on any areas of the body that are affected by bed sores. Apply as much aloe vera as needed to sufficiently cover the sores. Repeat this process once a day until the bed sores have healed over.

      Moisten a soft washcloth with warm water until it is as warm as the water. Add a drop of antibacterial soap that is the size of a quarter and thoroughly wash any areas of the body that are prone to bed sores. Repeat twice daily, once in the morning and once at night, to keep the body free of bacteria that can cause bed sores.

      Rotate your body every couple of hours to keep it from resting in one position for long periods of time. By constantly changing the position of your body, you can prevent bed sores from appearing.
