How to Make Herbal Facial Toner

Facial toners are used to condition, hydrate and soften the skin. They also may contain ingredients that will enhance skin tone and texture. Herbal toners are a favorite choice for those who prefer an all-natural, additive-free product, or by people who are sensitive to the components of commercial brands. Here is an herbal facial toner that can be easily made at home and used to enhance all skin types. It will gently disinfect and detoxify pores with tea tree oil and witch hazel to eliminate blemishes. The aloe vera gel will heal any existing damage to your skin’s cells. Peppermint oil will brighten your complexion and rose will moisturize and repair your skin with natural vitamin C. This mild but effective toner can be used every day and its positive benefits are cumulative.

Instructions

    • 1

Open the bottle and place the funnel in the opening. Pour in the distilled water. Add the witch hazel.

    • 2

Add the tea tree, peppermint, and rose absolute essential oils to the contents of the bottle.

    • 3

Remove the funnel and set it aside. Replace the cap of the bottle and shake it gently for about one minute to combine all of the ingredients.

    • 4

Use the cotton balls to apply the herbal facial toner to your skin following your daily cleansing routine or after washing off a facial mask. Because this formula is alcohol-free and non-drying, it need not be rinsed off.

    • 5

Allow the herbal toner to air-dry on your skin for best results. You can also finish by applying a light moisturizer with a sunscreen.
