Drink 1/4 cup of borage tea up to three times daily as a diuretic, to help reduce a cough and sooth respiratory problems, to purify the blood and remove toxins from the kidneys and to reduce a fever.

Use borage leaves to cleanse and soften the skin. Add two handfuls of dried borage leaves to a bowl and cover with boiling water. Cover your head with a towel and rest your head over the bowl, allowing the steam to penetrate your pores. Close your eyes and keep your face over the bowl for 10 or 15 minutes and then rinse your face with cold water.
