      Dice the beets and carrots. This will make them easier to boil and also will put more nutrients into the water.

      Boil the beets and carrots. Once the water has reached a rolling boil, dump the beets and carrots into the pot and cover it. You can reduce the heat slightly. Cook the vegetables for at least 20 minutes.

      Strain out the vegetables. You can eat them or throw them away. Catch the water in the plastic container.

      Massage the vegetable water into your scalp just before bed. Use the tips of your fingers to work the water into your scalp. You should let your hair dry overnight with the vegetable water still in it.
