Include natural diuretics in your diet to help reduce edema and treat dropsy. Cucumber, grapes and coconut water are all natural diuretics that can be taken whole or juiced. Fresh alfalfa is another natural diuretic which can be juiced or steeped to make tea. To make alfalfa tea, add 1 tsp. of fresh alfalfa to every cup of boiling water and allow the tea to steep for at least 10 minutes before drinking.
