How to Cure Diarrhea Naturally

Diarrhea can be inconvenient and often brings it with it fatigue, dehydration, bloating, cramping, weight loss and an elevated temperature. The causes can range from a specific food intolerance to reactions from medication. Many people are finding ways to treat diarrhea without using medication.

      Eliminate dairy, eggs and wheat from your diet. These foods are high in allergens and can cause diarrhea even in people who have been eating them their whole lives. Switch to rice milk or soy milk. Watch labels for wheat, including wheat gluten. After the intestine has recovered, slowly reintroduce the foods into your diet.

      Drink teas. Black tea, raspberry, chamomile, ginger, and blackberry teas between meals can settle the stomach and reduce dehydration. Adding lemon is also helpful.
