How to Use a Saline Nasal Rinse

Your sinuses are cavities located behind your nose and eyes. During illness and allergies, sinuses fill with fluid, causing pain and tightness. In fact, according to Healing Daily.com, sinus problems are the "No. 1 reason people see a doctor." Flushing sinuses with a saline solution helps to clear away debris, bacteria and mucus. Saline is poured through the nasal passageway using a neti pot, which can be purchased at pharmacies and health food stores.
