How to Detoxify with Tea
Things You'll Need
- 2 tbsp. lemon juice
- 2 tbsp. organic grade B maple syrup or Madal Bal natural tree syrup
- 1/10 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 10 oz. water

Combine lemon juice, organic grade B maple syrup or Madal Bal natural tree syrup and cayenne pepper, and add to filtered water. Prepare as either hot or cold tea.

Drink six to nine glasses per day. For a full cleansing, it is recommended not to eat during your cleansing time. However, if fasting for a number of days is not a preference, there are options. Have a few glasses of tea for breakfast and dinner and have a healthy lunch, avoiding fried foods, red meat and processed foods. These foods are where many of the toxins come from and will slow the detox progress.

Continue the tea-drinking regimen for 10 days. After the 10 days, start eating regular food again, but introduce it slowly. Watch what you eat, and try to avoid foods that will put toxins back in your body.
