How to Use Wild Yam Therapy
Wild yam root has been used for many years to treat nausea, upset stomach, coughs, menstrual cramps, premenstrual tension and difficulties related to childbirth. In recent times an ingredient known as diosgenin was discovered in the root. Diosgenin can be chemically converted into the hormone progesterone, which supports estrogen in the body and assists with low libido, pregnancy and menopausal symptoms. Wild yam therapy is most commonly used to treat menstrual pain and cramps and menopausal issues.Things You'll Need
