Instructions

    • 1

Vitamin A helps to protect the lining of the urinary tract and a lack of Vitamin A can lead to stone formation so make sure and take the daily recommended allowances for this vitamin.

    • 2

Drink at least 64 ounces of distilled water daily. This helps to keep the kidneys clear and functioning at their fullest potential.

    • 3

Watermelon is a great source of additional water, eat it alone and often, but never with a meal.

    • 4

Use the seeds of the watermelon to make tea, steep in hot water for 15 minutes strain, add honey, and drink.

    • 5

More acidity in your urine helps to break down the stones, so drink cranberry juice as this increases acidity.

    • 6

Stop eating meat! Meat based proteins are often to blame for kidney stone production.

    • 7

Take licorice extracts as this reduces the swelling of the ureters, which in turn allows the stone to pass easier.
