How to Cure Diverticulosis With Fiber
Instructions

1
Change your diet. Even if you are eating high fiber foods, switch to raw vegetables and fruits which retain the benefits of fiber better than when cooked.
-
2
Eat fruits and vegetables with the skin, such as apples and pears. This will provide more fiber than fruits eaten without the skin, such as oranges and bananas. Broccoli, carrots and celery are higher in fiber than potatoes and corn.
-
3
Juice your foods. As long as the food is not cooked or peeled the benefit is almost as good as eating the food whole. Juiced foods are digested more easily and may work for people who are finding the increase in fiber intolerable.

Take psyllium husk. Start with 1 teaspoon a day in water and then increase to 2 teaspoons a day. You may experience some discomfort or gas as your body adjusts.
