Uses of Nicotinamide
Nicotinamide is part of the B vitamin complex. Along with nicotinic acid (niacin), nicotinamide makes up vitamin B3. It is water soluble and found naturally in sources such as animal products, legumes and cereals composed of whole grains. Nicotinamide is an important compound for human metabolism but also has many other notable uses.-
Skin Therapy

NIcotinamide ZCF is an oral dose of nicotinamide often prescribed to treat acne. It is also very useful in treating other skin disorders that present with mild redness, swelling or irritation. Nicotinamide may also be prescribed to counteract the niacin deficiency known as pellagra. Oral nicotinamide is not recommended for pregnant women.

Nicotinamide is an important bio-molecule that often functions as a coenzyme or cosubstrate in metabolic reactions. Often used in cosmetics, nicotinamide is a good skin and hair conditioner. Nicotinamide can be found as an additive in foods such as corn meal, farina, rice and macaroni and noodles and as a direct ingredient in baby formula.

Nicotinamide may also be used as an ingredient in nonconsumables. It is a common constituent of household solvents, cleaning products and paints. In addition, nicotinamide is an additive sometimes used for pesticides on crops. According to a report by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), no more than 0.5 percent of the formula for pesticides can be nicotinamide.
