About Homeopathy
-
According to a National Health Interview Survey, 3.9 million adults and 900,000 children used homeopathy in 2006. Homeopathy is a whole medical approach used for wellness and prevention, as well as treating diseases and conditions. The main principle of homeopathy is "like cures like," which states that a disease can be cured by a substance that produces similar symptoms in healthy people. Another key element of homeopathy is the principle of dilution. This principle states that the lower the dose of medication, the greater its effectiveness.
