Homeopathic Drug Products
Founded around 1790 by Samuel Hahnemann, homeopathic medicine offers an alternative to conventional treatments. Homeopathic remedies work by encouraging a healing response and promoting the body's return to a natural state of balance and health. This is obtained through the use of plants, herbs, minerals and elements that are highly diluted and are safe for children and pets.-
Fever, Shock and Anxiety
-
Aconite is the remedy most commonly used in homeopathic medicine for acute onset symptoms, such as fever, but it also is used for panic attacks, fear, shock and anxiety. Aconite, also referred to as wolf's bane and monkshood, grows in Europe and Central Asia. For acute fevers, Aconite may be an appropriate remedy when a patient experiences a profound restlessness and the shivers, yet symptoms improve when in fresh air or upon sleeping. For fevers, try a dose of Aconite 30c every 30 minutes for a maximum of 10 doses. (30c is a measure of dilution: one drop in 100 with the dilution repeated 30 times.) For panic attacks, fear and anxiety, try a 30c dose every two hours until the symptoms subside, for a maximum of 10 doses.
Headaches and Joint Pain

The plant-based remedy Bryonia is used to treat pain such as headaches and joint aches. Bryonia, also known as wild hops and white bryony, is a perennial plant that grows mainly in England and central and southern Europe. For headache symptoms, particularly for when the pain is described as bursting and extends to the back of the head, and when pain worsens upon movement, try a dose of Bryonia 6c every hour (with a maximum of 10 doses) until symptoms subside. For joint pain, whether from arthritis or an injury, try a 30c dose every four hours (with a maximum of 10 doses) until symptoms subside.

For minor cuts and grazes, try a dose of Arnica montana 30c every two hours for a maximum of six doses. For bruising, try a 30c dose every 10 to 15 minutes for a maximum of 10 doses. For strains or sprains, try a 30c dose every 30 minutes or until pain subsides for a maximum of up to 10 doses.
