Aconitum apellus is a remedy that helps control the burning feeling that you may get when you urinate. Apis mellicica is used when you have frequent urination with only a small amount of urine passing at each time. It helps to relieve the sensitivity of the bladder.
Berberis vulgaris is used if you are experiencing sharp pains and a burning feeling, before, during and after urination. Clematis is best for when you need to urinate frequently but have an interrupted flow that just seems to stop and then restart. When you have bearing down feeling the homeopathic remedy you need is Sepia. Use Belladonna if your bladder is very sensitive, your urine is unusually colored and you need to urinate frequently.
Cantharis is best when you experience a scalding pain every time you urinate. It is also used when you urinate and only a few drops pass at a time. Borax is used when you feel as though the bladder is not being emptied and only small amount of urine is being passed at a time. You experience pressure on your bladder as well.
When you are unable to urinate comfortably and need to try all different positions including standing just to urinate, you should try Chimaphila umbellate. Nux vomica is used for cramping in the bladder when small amounts of urine pass and you are experiencing chills.
Dosage

Choose the remedy that comes closest to your symptoms. The lowest dosage should be started with. The instructions are as follows according to Health Notes "Take one dose and wait for a response. If improvement is seen, continue to wait and let the remedy work. If improvement has stopped, another dose can be taken."
The dosage needed can vary greatly from several dosages needed in one hour to several in one day, it varies from individual to individual. Each remedy is also different. When you switch from one remedy to another you should start back at the lowest dosage.
