How do you get maliria?

Malaria is a disease caused by a parasite called Plasmodium. The parasite is transmitted to humans through the bite of an infected female Anopheles mosquito. When an infected mosquito bites a human, the parasite enters the bloodstream and travels to the liver. In the liver, the parasite multiplies and infects red blood cells. When infected red blood cells rupture, they release more parasites into the bloodstream, causing symptoms of malaria, including fever, chills, and fatigue.
