What does ARNP mean after a doctors name?
ARNP stands for Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner. ARNPs are healthcare professionals who have a master's degree in nursing and have completed additional training in a specific area of medicine. They are licensed to practice medicine independently in all 50 states and can diagnose and treat medical conditions, prescribe medications, and order and interpret tests. ARNPs often work in collaboration with physicians, but they can also work independently in some settings.
