The Effects of a Magnetic Mattress Pad
The benefits of magnet therapy can be obtained by adding a magnetic mattress pad to your bead. Magnet mattress pads typically have rows of magnets sewn into the mattress. The rows of magnets are sandwiched between layers of polyester, foam, cotton and/or damask to prevent the magnets from being felt while the pad is in use. Magnetic pads should not be used by pregnant women or people with implanted devices such as pacemakers or defibrillators. Consult your doctor if you have any questions.-
Pain Relief
-
If you suffer from frequent body aches, magnetic pads can help reduce bone, joint and muscle pain. Older folks, people who are overweight and people who suffer from chronic joint or tissue problems such as arthritis, carpal tunnel, sciatica or fybromyalgia, can all use magnetic pads for general pain relief. Athletes can also use magnetic pads to bring pain-relief after a strenuous day of physical exertion.
Blood Circulation
-
Magnets can help get particles in the blood moving as well as open up blood vessels slightly. Magnetic pads can be used to help increase blood and oxygen circulation and to reduce inflammation. In general, healthy blood circulation improves the bodies ability to heal and cleanse itself of toxins. High cholesterol, diabetes, nervous system disorders and high blood pressure all are improved by better blood circulation.
Balancing pH
-
If results from mouth swab or urine tests reveal that your body has an imbalanced pH level (is acidic), magnetic pads can be used to help alkalize the body. Having an acidic body pH can affect one's metabolism, prevent the body from staving off disease, compromise the ability of vital organs to function properly and can cause your body to try to leach minerals from your bones in order to neutralize the acidity. In conjunction with a magnetic pad, dietary changes should also be made. These include eating less acidic foods like dairy, meat, coffee, soda and products with processed wheat and sugar and eating more alkaline foods such as green vegetables, soy products, herbal teas and foods made with unprocessed sweeteners such as honey or raw sugar.
