Mind Power Technique

Mind power techniques are useful ways to clear your mind, attract positive energy, and improve your relationships, career and general way of living. There are a number of mind power techniques to use on a daily basis that don't require a lot of time or energy. Using these techniques will revitalize you, allowing you to live your life with increased clarity, positivity and vigor.
  1. Meditation

    • Meditation is a way to commune with your subconscious, while promoting relaxation of your body and spirit. Meditation is most effective when done in a tranquil environment that allows you to concentrate without excess noise or distractions. While meditating, focus on something as simple as your breath moving in and out of your body. If you have specific goals you would like to realize, then meditation is a constructive tool for recognizing and affirming those aspirations. Use meditation time to repeat affirmative statements to yourself, such as, "I am a creative individual," or "I deserve this promotion." The statements should align with what you want to accomplish, or they should address what is worrying you. It is best to use meditation right before bed so your mind will continue to think about your affirmations while you sleep and the positive energy will carry over to the next morning.

    Visual Techniques

    • Visualizing your goals as something you have already achieved is another way to strengthen the success of your affirmations. Picturing your ambitions can help you obtain them faster and with greater ease, while increasing your confidence. Another useful technique is to write down your goals five times or more daily so you can physically see them. Also write down your goals and leave them in prominent place, such as on your refrigerator door, car dashboard or desk, as encouragement and a daily reminder of your goals.

    Positive Words

    • When creating your goals, use specific words that describe aspects of your intentions and objective. This ultimately will help you achieve your goals by clarifying exactly what you must do to attain them. Make sure that you are using positive, assertive and definitive language. For instance, say, "I am," "I do," "I will," rather than "I'll try" or "I may." Remember that patience and a belief in your own capabilities will help you become a more balanced individual, and will help make your goals a reality.
