How to Become a Naturopathic Assistant

Naturopathy is a system of medicine based on a belief in the healing power of nature. As of 2009, only 15 states -- Alaska, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Idaho, Kansas, Maine, Minnesota, Montana, New Hampshire, Oregon, Utah, Vermont and Washington -- licensed naturopathic doctors to practice, so becoming a naturopathic assistant outside of these states may be difficult. Requirements necessary to become a naturopathic assistant vary from state to state. Nevertheless, there are certain measures you can take to better your chances of becoming a naturopathic assistant.
