How to Clean Hot Stones
Massages are deeply soothing and relaxing for stressful bodies and minds. Therapists use hot volcanic stones and river rocks in massage therapy to improve circulation, relieve pain, release tight muscles and tissue, alleviate stress and promote overall well-being. The stones lie on a client's spine, chest, stomach and face to promote muscle relaxation. Therapists also use hot stones along with oils and creams to massage clients. Since hot stones accumulate body oils, dirt and sweat, they require thorough cleaning after each use.Things You'll Need
