Natural Help for Impotence

You've been trying conventional medical "solutions" for a long time now, but your impotence has not been improved. You're worried that you'll never find help. One thing you've never looked into, though, is a more "natural" cure.
  1. Diet

    • Impotence can sometimes be caused by simply eating wrong. If you've noticed that certain foods cause diarrhea or constipation, strictly avoid them. Alcohol can weaken sexual desire and result in impotence, including excessive beer drinking. Coffee, too, can have a negative effect on one's sexual organs, resulting in erectile dysfunction. Tobacco products can also have a debilitating effect in that regard, so stay away from them.

    Zinc

    • Add zinc to your diet. A depletion of zinc can lead to erectile dysfunction and, as a result, impotence. Foods rich in zinc include mollusks and oysters, most name-brand breakfast cereals, most canned soups, baked beans, and even table salt. If you have diabetes, have suffered from digestive disorders in the past, or suffer from liver or kidney problems, your zinc levels, especially, will probably need an extra boost.

    Gingko

    • One herb that can relax your muscles in the penis area and encourage blood flow to the penis--thereby causing an erection--is gingko. Try adding gingko to your diet either in the form of tablets (obtained at your local herb store) or as a powder added to soups, drinks, or milkshakes. Make sure you get a daily does of gingko for at least three months--though try for six.

    Indian Ginseng

    • Indian ginseng (or ashwagandha) has been used for centuries as a natural fighter of impotence. The herb is said to increase stamina and energy--as well as general sexual function. Though Indian ginseng can cause drowsiness, it may be worth a try for those striving to battle their own impotence.
